Since learning of the procedure on how new vehicles are prepped at the dealerships, we advise you to think about this before having it done. Quite plain and simply they do not have the time, due to a high turn-around of vehicles to prep, and some don’t have the necessary experience to install a ceramic coating properly. Which can lead to you being a dissatisfied customer and ruining your new car day, which should be an exciting time.
Here at SGT Details, we have gone through the correct training procedure to ensure your new vehicle will be immaculate. We have been trained by one of the biggest detailing companies in the world known as Auto Finesses, and have also networked with other successful detailing business in the southwest.
Terms and conditions for this service is that the vehicle has to be under 1,000miles.
Duration: 2 Days (This will allow time for the coating to cure properly).
- Alloys, arches and tyres rinsed and thoroughly cleaned and dressed.
- Engine bay de-greased and dressed.
- A Full exterior safe wash consisting of citrus snow foam prior to any contact with the vehicle.
- Two bucket wash method.
- Door shuts, boot sills and intricate areas will be cleaned.
- The vehicle will then be decontaminated and clay bard to remove any iron particles and tar residue.
- A paint depth reading will be carried out across the whole car to get a clear indication and understanding of the clear-coat we are dealing with.
- A full single stage machine polish will be carried out removing swirl marks and light defects in the paintwork (deeper defects in some cases will remain).
Protection
- As standard across the range a ceramic coating will be applied with a durability of up to 3-years.
